Bergen County Shooting Range, Mahwah NJ
This site is used for the Bergen County Police and swat Departments to stay qualified in their marksmanship. This project was completed under a very tight schedule. There were numerous challenges on this project, not only with the time line but with the unsuitable soil conditions for the RCP shelter columns that had to be erected. Structural reinforcment of the existing building had to be completed in the crawl space under the building including a new concrete pier and a new main beam.
After the soil conditions were resolved, additional rebar reinforcing was added to the concrete columns before the concrete could be poured. We were able to erect the two RCP shelters to keep the marksman out of the weather. This project was completed on time despite all the delays.
